Submission/Final Video Status Visible in the Library

We’ve added the ability to display the Submission Status of video files in your Library. This will make it faster and easier for broadcasters to identify items for review vs. items meant for immediate broadcast.

Automatic Re-Slatting of Content when Converting from HD to SD

Do you need to convert your content from HD to SD to service to a specific station? We now offer the ability to automatically re-slate your materials as part of that process – saving you time and money! We’ve also added the ability to select either a Letterbox OR Centre-Cut approach for the conversion.

DMDS PC Manager Now Available as a Windows Service

Music and Advertising users now have the option of running the DMDS Manager as a Windows Service. This is the generally preferred methodology for cases where the Manager is run on a server and does not require a user to be logged in to function. The Windows Service Manager has all of the same Download features addressable in the desktop version of the application.

Comments & Approvals Visible in the Library

Fewer clicks means more productivity! We’ve moved the ability to add Comments or Approvals for Releases from the Details page to the Library page. Simply click the row, expand the module and enter the information you need to post.

Updates to the Preview Panel

We packed the Preview Panel so full of information; we felt it was time for a little re-design. We cleaned things up, added more information via the roll-overs and improved the functionality surrounding the Download button (enabling the selection of differing available formats).

Email Notifications for New Playlists Shared with your Organization

DMDS is the system of choice to conduct online music meetings. It is utilized to review incoming music and video content at broadcasters across North America and around the world. We’ve added the ability to enable email notifications when members of the programming team create and share playlists for daily or weekly music meetings.

DMDS PC Hub Manager: Workflow Edition

Whether you manage 2 or 200 stations from your Hub, the DMDS Manager can now support the dynamic delivery of content to the individual location you specify all while still enabling enhanced features like content renaming, XML synchronization, SD/HD specific content folders and media identification services.
